1. Acceptance of these terms

These Terms & Conditions ("Terms") govern your access to and use of Hillradar AI at localhost:4000, including the installable app, email / Telegram / WhatsApp alerts and any related services (together, the "Service"), operated by Hillradar AI ("we", "us").

• By registering, signing in or using the Service you confirm that you have read, understood and agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy and Disclaimer, which form part of these Terms.
• If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
• If you use the Service on behalf of a company, you confirm you are authorised to bind that company.

2. Eligibility & accounts

• You must be at least 18 years old and legally able to enter into contracts.
• Accounts are created by you or by an administrator. You are responsible for keeping your password confidential and for all activity under your account. Tell us immediately at info@hillradar.com if you suspect unauthorised use.
• One person per account. Sharing an account, reselling access or scraping the Service on behalf of others is not permitted.
• We may suspend or close accounts that breach these Terms, with or without notice.

3. Plans, payment & renewal

• Prices are in US dollars and exclude any taxes you may owe. Current prices are always shown in the app; we may change prices for future periods with notice.
• Pro is billed annually in advance. Access starts when payment is confirmed and lasts 12 months. Unless you cancel before the renewal date, your plan renews for another year at the then-current price (where automatic billing is in place).
• Refunds: you may request a full refund within 14 days of your first Pro payment if you have not exported data or received more than 10 alerts. After that, payments are non-refundable except where the law requires otherwise.
• Cancelling stops the next renewal; you keep Pro features until the end of the paid period.
• If a payment fails or is reversed, we may downgrade the account to Free until it is settled.

4. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• Copy, scrape, crawl or bulk-download the Service or its data except through features we provide (e.g. CSV export for your own research).
• Resell, redistribute or publicly republish our signals, scores, theses or compiled datasets, or build a competing service from them.
• Reverse-engineer, probe or disrupt the Service, bypass plan limits or access controls, or use automated tools that place unreasonable load on it.
• Use the Service for market manipulation, insider dealing, harassment of any lawmaker, or any unlawful purpose.
• Upload malicious code, or misrepresent your identity or affiliation.

You may quote small excerpts with attribution and a link to Hillradar AI.

5. Data sources & intellectual property

• Trade records originate from public US government disclosures filed under the STOCK Act (US House Clerk and US Senate Office of Public Records) and from public-domain datasets derived from them. These records are public information.
• Our compilation, normalisation, scores, signals, AI-generated notes, design, code and trademarks are the property of Hillradar AI and protected by copyright and other laws. You receive a limited, revocable, non-exclusive licence to use the Service for personal or internal business research.
• Lawmaker photos and biographical data come from public-domain sources (United States Congress / the unitedstates project).
• Company names and tickers belong to their respective owners and are used for identification only.

6. No financial advice

• Signals are statistical summaries of public filings. They do not know the future, do not account for your situation, and can be wrong.
• Lawmakers may file up to 45 days after a trade; prices may already have moved.
• You alone are responsible for your investment decisions. Consider consulting a licensed professional.

7. Availability & changes

• We aim for high availability but the Service is provided "as is" and "as available". Data feeds, third-party messaging platforms (Telegram, Meta/WhatsApp, email providers) and AI providers may be interrupted or change without notice.
• We may add, modify or remove features, and update these Terms. Material changes will be announced in the app or by email; continued use after the effective date means you accept the new Terms.
• We may suspend the Service for maintenance or security reasons.

8. Warranties & limitation of liability

• We make no warranty that the data is accurate, complete, current or fit for a particular purpose, or that the Service will be uninterrupted or error-free.
• To the fullest extent permitted by law, Hillradar AI and its owners, staff and suppliers are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for any loss of profits, investments, data or goodwill arising from your use of (or inability to use) the Service or reliance on its content.
• Our total liability for any claim relating to the Service is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim, or US $100 if you paid nothing.
• Some jurisdictions do not allow certain exclusions; in that case they apply to the extent permitted.

9. Indemnity

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Hillradar AI from claims, losses and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from your breach of these Terms, your misuse of the Service, or your violation of any law or third-party right.

10. Termination

• You may close your account at any time from Settings or by emailing info@hillradar.com.
• We may suspend or terminate access for breach of these Terms, suspected fraud or abuse, legal requirements, or discontinuation of the Service.
• Sections on intellectual property, no advice, liability, indemnity and governing law survive termination.

11. Governing law & disputes

• These Terms are governed by the laws of the United States of America, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. The Service is operated for a US audience; if you access it from elsewhere you are responsible for compliance with your local laws.
• Before starting any formal proceeding, you agree to contact us first so we can try to resolve the matter informally within 30 days.
• Any dispute that cannot be resolved informally will be brought in the state or federal courts located in the United States, and you consent to their jurisdiction. Where permitted by law, claims must be brought individually and not as part of a class action.
• If any provision is found unenforceable, the rest remains in effect. Our failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver.
• These Terms, the Privacy Policy and the Disclaimer are the entire agreement between you and Hillradar AI regarding the Service.
